How Paxton Net 2 works with Storeganise

The Paxton Net2 Add-on connects to your on-premise Net2 server via a secure ngrok tunnel, bridging Storeganise's cloud infrastructure to your local network. When a customer completes a move-in, Storeganise creates a Paxton user record, generates a PIN, and grants individual door permissions for both the unit door and any configured shared facility access points. 

Move-outs, overdue payment lockouts, manual overlocks, and unit transfers all trigger automatic permission updates in real time. Operators configure the integration once, mapping Storeganise units to Paxton door names, and the Add-on handles everything from that point on.

How does the Paxton Net2 integration work with Storeganise?

The integration connects Storeganise to your on-premise Net2 server using a secure ngrok tunnel. When rental lifecycle events occur in Storeganise, move-ins, move-outs, overdue payments, unit transfers, the Add-on automatically creates, updates, or deletes the corresponding Paxton user records and door permissions. Operators map each storage unit to a Paxton door name once, and the Add-on handles all provisioning from that point forward.

Is this integration suitable for both small and large operators?

Yes. The integration supports single-site and multi-site operators. Customers with units across multiple facilities can be managed independently per site, with each site having its own Paxton Net2 server and Add-on configuration.

Does my facility need an existing Paxton Net2 installation?

Yes. The integration requires an active Paxton Net2 installation running on-premise at your facility. The Add-on connects to your existing Net2 server via APIm it does not install or configure hardware. Doors, timezones, and access points must be pre-configured in Net2 before the Add-on is enabled.

How do customers access the facility?

Customers access the facility using a PIN code. The PIN is generated automatically by Storeganise when the customer moves in, assigned to their Paxton user record, and stored on the unit rental in Storeganise, where the customer can also view it in the Customer Portal.

How do I get started?

Contact Storeganise at support@storeganise.com to have the Paxton Net2 Add-on installed on your account. You will need an active Paxton Net2 installation, your Paxton API credentials (username, password, and client ID), and an ngrok account to expose your Net2 server.
